Sara + Doug 9.22.12 Manito Park

Who says September is too cold for weddings? Not me! And certainly not Sara and Doug! The weather was beautiful for the gorgeous Manito Park wedding. If you’ve never been to Manito Park, you need to go before the winter time! I’ts the perfect wedding venue, the Rose Garden where Sara and Doug were married couldn’t have been more impressively (or conveniently!) landscaped. We started the day at Sara’s maid of honor’s house, and there were some beautiful birch trees in the back to hang the dress on! Sara looked beautiful in her Dress from David’s Bridal, and Doug looked great in his tux!

I absolutely loved Doug’s cuff-links, and Sara’s bouquet. We did the first look in the Japanese Garden, everything about the garden is peaceful and beautiful. The bridge made a perfect center point!

We took the opportunity after the Japanese garden to take some quick shots over by the dahlia’s, they’re definitely my new favorite flower.

The ceremony started shortly after, and the scene was beautiful. With the fading light and the roses in the foreground, I couldn’t have asked for anything more perfect to shoot that day.

Then it was more dahlia’s (isn’t her ring gorgeous?), off to Duncan gardens for some more pictures, and the reception!

Congratulations to Doug and Sara! I wish you all the best!!
